On August 14, 1980, a bright light entered the world when Dawn Turner Popple was born. On June 21, 2026, at the tender age of 45, that light returned home to glory, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet grace that will forever live in our hearts of those who know her. Dawn was a woman whose presence brought comfort and steadiness to her family. She carried herself with a gentle spirit, yet she possessed a deep well of strength that others leaned on her. Her hands were rarely still she was a gifted and skillful crafter, able to turn simple materials into beautiful creations. Though her craftwork, she poured love into every stitch, every detail, every piece she shaped Family was the center of Dawn's world. She leave to cherish her precious memory her devoted husband, Jeremiah Popple, who stood by her side with unwavering love. She is also survived by her mother, Sherry Barlett Turner, who nurtured her with tenderness and pride. Dawn's heart was especially when it came to children she helped raised. She lovingly reared her niece, Charli-Nicole Turner, as a granddaughter, pouring into her the same warmth, guidance, and affection that defined her life. She also leaves a maternal grandfather, Arthur Barlett of Thomaston, Georgia, whose wisdom and presence shaped her early years. Dawn's extended family includes her maternal aunt and uncles--Barbara King of Thomaston, Georgia; Hershaell Barlett of Thomaston, Georgia; and Tom Barlett of Midway, Georgia-- each of whom held a special place in her heart. On her paternal side, Dawn is remembered by her aunts, Rachel Mendoza (Albert) of Fort Johnson, Louisiana, and others who shared in the joy of her life, She also embraced a circle of adopted brothers and sisters who became family not by blood, but by love; Butch Ellington (Virginia) of Texas; Roger Swails of Thomaston, Georgia; Samantha Killingsworth (Donovan) of Thomaston, Georgia; and Jane Upchurch (Leon) of LaGrange. To each of them, Dawn was a source of comfort, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Though her earthy journey has ended, Dawn's spirit remain woven into the lives she touched. Her love continues in the family she nurtured, the memories she created, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Her life was a testament to kindness, creativity, and the quiet power of a loving heart. May her memory be a blessing, and may her light continues to shine through those who loved her most. ..
