Johnnie Richardson

On November 20, 1961, i was gifted from God to my earthy parents Johnny J. Richardson and Lillian Davis-Richardson in Howard, Georgia. As a child, I attended various churches but as I grew into adulthood, I decided to make Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church my church home where I dedicated my life to Christ. While growing up in Howell, GA and later in Butler, GA, I remember having a very close relationship with my family. We would always enjoy each other's company, play in the yard of older relatives, and meet at our aunt and uncle's house for a wonderful Sunday meal. I received my formative education in the Taylor County School Systems where I graduated from Taylor County School in 1983, After graduation, I decided to future my learning journey by attending Job Corp. in Brunswick, GA-learning skills that enriched my life. While there, I met so many people from various backgrounds.. As most of you know, through my faith in God and a combination of life experiences, I developed a love for self and others by showing kindness to all I met, and by assisting my elderly neighbors with everyday tasks or just sitting and talking with them to ensure they was doing well. I tried to show kindness and generosity to my family, friends, and strangers daily, Some might say I had a giving and caring spirit, but we all know that God used my body to show how great He is. As I continued my journey, there was a time I had to move to Ideal, GA. When I arrived, Iwas met by this magnificent staff at Miona Geriatric & Dementia Center. They were kind to me and allowed me to assist other residents. Although, my situation was not idea, they made it like home. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff. On December 2, 2023, God saw fit for me to start my eternal life, celebrating this blessed event with those who have gone on before me, my parents: Johnny J. Richardson and Lillian-Davis Richardson; a sister, Darlene Richardson; and two brothers, Calvin Danley, and Lonnie Clyde Character. I am also reunited with my very special and caring cousin, and nephew: Andrea "Zella" Peeples, and David Smith, Jr, I leave you all here to cherish my memories as I depart from you, my three sisters: Geraldine (Charlie) Richardson-Smith, Sharyl (Walter) Williams, Ernestine Richardson-Miller, and Erica Richardson; my three brothers: Leon Searcy, Alfred Davis, and Dandy Richardson; four aunts; Mamie Lou Howell, Corine Lyons, Delores Tye and Azzie Lee Flowers, who held a special place in my heart; for uncles, Curtis (Martha) Richardson, Greg (Pamela) Richardson, David Richard, and Ricky Richardson. I also leave a very special cousin, Earline Flowers-Gooch, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
